***SATURDAY, AUGUST 24^, 2012

It was around 12:30 PM when a loud knock came on our front door.  I opened the door and sure enough, there stood the Fed Ex man with a large package in his hand.   I rushed the package in to Joel and we opened it together.  We first noticed three pictures of our beautiful Gianna.  We could hardly lay them down to review everything else.  When we finally managed to view the other contents, all of Gianna’s medical history was included.  There was some paperwork that needed to be returned to our adoption agency so we worked furiously to complete these documents (one of which was the letter of acceptance) and send back to CCAI.  Once we got the paperwork together, we then went to Fed Ex and shipped the document as quickly as possible.

We spent the rest of the evening looking at and admiring our beautiful Gianna.  Included is the picture that we received from that memorable day.
